Sometimes people know what's right and wrong for them, but they still do what they truly want without thinking about the consequences. Take me for example, when I came here and started writing blogs, my life was messed up, but my goal was clear. As my life slowly got sorted, my goal became blurry. Now, to be honest, I can't even remember my goal. I don't remember what I was fighting for, what I wanted to achieve. I made a roadmap for myself, but it's just a distant memory now. I don't even know when I started lying to myself while lying to others. I'm lost in a भूल-भुलैया , and I don't know how to get out. Because I feel like I'll be able to control the things I'm seeing now, I understand that the whole game is about understanding things because what you see isn't necessarily the truth. It could be an illusion.
I went to the temple two days ago. I go there often. As you enter the temple, there's a statue of Ramji, Sitaji, and Lakshman ji. To their right is Krishna ji & Radha ji , and to their left is Durga Maa. (Which you can only see when you're fully inside the temple). But two days ago, I saw a girl enter and the first thing she did was bow to Ganesha ji . His statue is little further ahead of Durga Maa. I don't know why, but I started thinking about this in the temple because I always bow to Ram ji first. But when I came home, I remembered that we've always been taught to start with Ganesha's aarti. I've never looked at it that way before. Everything was right in front of my eyes, but it took me time to realize it. Sometimes, our minds play tricks on us. Anyway, all gods are one, but when this realization struck me, I thought I should write about it.
Every problem has a solution right in front of me, but my mind keeps distracting me. It's hiding everything. Even though I have eyes, I'm blind. I've tied a blindfold on myself. While trying to solve the puzzle, I might end up becoming the puzzle myself. It's become necessary to break this loop. Maybe Ganesh ji isn't given the first place because he's the most superior, but because sometimes it's necessary to categorize. So we have a place to start. Because starting is the toughest thing. Humans can't even take the first step.
I'll remember to use my mind along with my eyes now. Because this is not the time to be Gandhari. It's time to be Ganesh and write your own story.
